Compared to the CADEX GX 40c, the GXR 45c delivers a measured –1.52-watt reduction in rolling resistance per tyre (–3.03 watts per bike), enabling higher sustained speed on fast gravel sectors and smoother transitions between surfaces.
Refined shoulder knob geometry delivers predictable grip for cornering and off-camber transitions across loose gravel, sand, and variable surfaces. A 170 TPI supple casing allows the tyre to conform to the terrain, maintaining consistent contact and control without increasing rolling resistance.
A dual-layer system combines Race Shield+ protection under the centre tread with reinforced X-Shield sidewalls to resist cuts, punctures, and abrasion. This bead-to-bead construction improves durability in race conditions while keeping weight low and ride quality smooth.
